The 1599 Geneva Bible:
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, which standeth for the children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there began to be a nation unto that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.

And at that time shall Michael stand up.
[Observata ad Danielem]
And in that time Michael shall stand, that is, in that time he shall either arise or shall continue to stand. To wit, when that King, of whom the discourse hath hitherto been spoken, shall come forth, and when he shall find no helper. In Revelation 14:1, John seeth the Lamb standing upon the mount Sion and heareth sundry voices. Therefore Michael stood also then, when that King heard the voices whereby he was troubled. Accordingly, that which is here said, he shall stand, may be taken as he shall persist. Howbeit, it may also in a singular manner be taken as he shall arise, namely, to do that which must needs be done, to take possession of the kingdom: as it is written in Revelation 11:17–18. Wherefore, after that King had no helper, not all things are understood to be finished: but rather from that time forth, many things are to be wrought in a certain perpetual order, which are the work of Michael; so that at the last that may come to pass which is set forth in verses 2 and 3.
