The 1599 Geneva Bible:
And I heard the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand, and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth forever, that it shall tarry for a time two times and an half: and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

[Observata ad Danielem]
Verse 7. The answer is confirmed with an oath: that unto a time, times, and an half, and when the scattering of the hand of the holy people shall be finished, all these things shall have an end. Concerning the dividing of the time, we have seen in chapter 7:25 and Revelation 12:14. He addeth that the hand of the holy people shall be scattered. So in Deuteronomy 32:36, when he seeth that their hand is gone. It seemeth to be signified that the holy people shall be very weak, so that they have not a hand whereby they may be guarded and helped. Therefore, when the faithful shall have no aid, at least in many places, and shall be in peril of their soul, in great straitness, it must be looked for that the people of God shall escape.
